Privacy policy

Last updated: June 2026

CityLearning Ltd ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are (data controller)

The data controller is CityLearning Ltd. For any data protection query, contact us at info@citylearning.com.

What we collect

When you submit the "Request a demo" form or otherwise contact us, we collect the details you provide – such as your name, work email, telephone number, company, job title and any message. We also collect limited technical data through cookieless analytics (see our cookie policy) to understand how the site is used; this does not identify you. If you consent to optional cookies, we and the providers named below also collect device and usage data for advertising measurement and site improvement (see our cookie policy).

How we use it and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo – our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the form. You may withdraw this consent at any time (see "Your rights").
  • To run and secure our business and improve the website – our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our services, balanced against your rights.

Who we share it with

We use the following processors to handle enquiry data on our behalf, under data processing agreements. We do not sell your personal data.

  • Pipedrive – our customer relationship management (CRM) system, used to manage your enquiry.
  • Resend – our transactional email provider, used to deliver enquiry notifications to our team.

If you consent to optional cookies, the following providers also process limited device and usage data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer:

  • LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company / LinkedIn Corporation) – advertising measurement and retargeting via the LinkedIn Insight Tag.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation) – website analytics, heatmaps and session replay via Microsoft Clarity.

International transfers

Pipedrive, Resend, LinkedIn and Microsoft are based in (or process data in) the United States. Where your personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards – the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, together with each provider's data processing terms – to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise any right, email info@citylearning.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
