Cookie policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains how CityLearning Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and how you can control them.

Your choices

When you first visit, we show a consent banner. The cookieless analytics and strictly necessary technologies described below run without consent (they are exempt under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, PECR). The optional cookies below load only after you select "Accept". If you select "Reject", they are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Analytics (no consent required)

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible Analytics) to understand how the site is used. Plausible is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores no personal data on your device, and does not collect any information that identifies you. It measures only aggregated, anonymous usage. Under PECR, this type of measurement does not require your consent because it does not store or access information on your device.

Optional cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept, we use the following tools. These set cookies and may share data with the providers named below. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.

  • Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) – measures how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which last up to around two years.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company / LinkedIn Corporation) – measures the performance of our LinkedIn advertising and lets us show relevant ads to people who have visited the site. It sets cookies such as li_sugr, bcookie, lidc and UserMatchHistory, with durations ranging from the end of your session up to around two years.
  • Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft Corporation) – helps us understand how visitors use the site through aggregated metrics, heatmaps and session replay, so we can improve it. It sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk, with durations from the end of your session up to around one year.

Cookie names and durations are set by the providers and may change. For full details see the providers' own notices: the Google Privacy & Terms, the LinkedIn Cookie Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Strictly necessary technologies

We may use limited storage that is strictly necessary for the site to function securely (for example, to protect forms against spam). These are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR.

Managing storage

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking the optional cookies above will not affect your ability to use this site.
