Culture and ethics compliance training

The FCA expects firms to build and evidence a healthy culture — not just to comply with conduct rules on paper. CityLearning's culture and ethics courses cover everything from anti-harassment and diversity through to ESG disclosure, whistleblowing and business ethics, with scenarios that reflect real-world situations in financial services.

Frequently asked questions

What culture and ethics training do UK regulated firms need?
FCA-regulated firms are expected to evidence good culture through training on conduct, ethics and inclusive behaviour. The FCA's non-financial misconduct rules (effective September 2026) require firms to have anti-harassment, diversity and whistleblowing training in place for all relevant staff. Business ethics training is also expected for firms with senior leadership responsibilities.
Is anti-harassment training mandatory for UK financial services firms?
Yes, following the FCA's PS24/9 and the non-financial misconduct rules effective September 2026. All FCA-regulated firms must ensure their policies and training cover non-financial misconduct — including sexual harassment, bullying and exclusionary behaviour. Training must reach all staff, not just managers, and firms must be able to evidence completion.
